Its really easy to get involved with the Express team. They can be found in the Media Office in the basement of the Student Centre (take the stairs by the Bank of Ireland/SU Box Office).
Alternatively you can contact them at email@example.com
You’ll more than likely find members of the Editorial board hanging around the office so these are the faces you’ll see at writers meetings – but dont worry, like you, they all started off as contributors, so don’t be scared! Feel free to drop in at any time, if the office is locked or unattended call back another time or sign up to our mailing lists below.
If you’ve got an idea for an article, or need some help or advice, just speak to the relevant section editor, or have a chat with whomever you feel most comfortable with. If you are submitting an article you are free to use the computers in the Media Office to type up your articles, but please be aware we have limited machines and things do get very busy, especially close to production weekend.
Please remember to include your name and contact details with the article, and please return any press releases. For news and features, please also let us have your notes and research in case we need to check factual details.
Email is probably the best way of submitting an article. If possible, include the text in the main body of the email by cutting and pasting it from your word processor, rather than using an attachment.
If you have to use an attachment, please use only Microsoft Word or plain text format.
